Pros and cons of Ghosts of New Orleans app for iPhone and iPad

Ghosts of New Orleans app good for

And this one did not disappoint! I like getting to see the more unusual parts of cities, and getting to hear bits of history along the way. This app fit the bill. I was there as a tourist, but Id recommend it for both locals and tourists.
I didn’t notice many updates with this version. But, it’s still one of my favorite New Orleans apps. I’ve now tried all the bars on the tour, and several I keep going back to when I visit (especially LaFitte’s). No driving required, which is nice for bar hopping.
the ghost stories are a fun read on their own, but combined with some yummy drinks & eats the tour really highlights some of the best reasons to visit new orleans! fun & definitely a good value.
I dont just say that because the creators are awesome and 2 doors down from me, but this is a great app. Fun to do with a friend, lots of entertainment. Thanks and looking forward to your next one!
Tour took us to some very cool bars that all were of a unique vibe. Most of the bartenders werent familiar with the stories but they had some of their own. Nicely done!
I’ve tried tour apps in a few different cities - NYC, London, Chicago. But this was my favorite so far, largely because it combined a haunted theme with bars and history. Not dull at all. I also liked that it lead you from one site to the next, as opposed to some city apps where you have to figure out your own way.

Some bad moments

I am very disappointed that this app has only 9 places included in the walk! When I saw the screenshot of the list, I assumed there must be more places to visit if one scrolled the list. Having been to NOLA four different times, I was really hoping to discover a gem Id missed. Sadly, I wont find that gem with this app. What about "The Dungeon" Bar? It has a sinister haunted history. What about Johnny Whites? These same 9 bars are listed on Squidoo if you search "Haunted New Orleans Bars." I wonder who copied whom? A waste of $3.99, I would probably delete this app even if it were free.
Obviously the 5 review was from the creator. The 11 sites you see are IT! I thought it would have been nice to walk around with the audio playing but there are just not enough places to enjoy this app.
